Program Overview & Our Commitments

Building a Recovery-to-Work Pipeline

We Do Recover Inc. (WDRI) is currently in the early stages of developing and implementing a structured Recovery-to-Work Pipeline (Phase I). This initiative is designed to support individuals in recovery and those impacted by the justice system in achieving stability, employment readiness, and long-term self-sufficiency.

WDRI is actively building partnerships with employers who believe in second chances and are committed to creating meaningful employment opportunities for individuals rebuilding their lives.

This workforce-focused model serves as the foundation for a broader, long-term vision: a fully integrated continuum of care that will expand to include transitional housing and enhanced recovery support services as funding and infrastructure are secured.

This phase is designed to reduce barriers to employment and strengthen long-term recovery outcomes by equipping participants with the skills, confidence, and connections needed to successfully reenter the workforce.

Core services include:

  • Employment readiness and soft skills development
  • Resume building and job search assistance
  • Connection to second-chance employers and community partners
  • Ongoing coaching focused on job retention and workplace success
  • Access to vocational training and industry-recognized certifications

This phase is grounded in the belief that economic stability is a critical component of sustained recovery and successful community reintegration.

Future Phase: Transitional Housing Development

WDRI is actively planning the development of a transitional housing program designed to align with and support the Recovery-to-Work Pipeline. This future component will provide safe, structured, and supportive housing for individuals actively engaged in recovery and workforce programming.

The goal is to create a coordinated system where housing stability and employment development work together to support long-term success.

As funding and infrastructure are secured, this phase will expand WDRI’s capacity to deliver a more comprehensive recovery and reentry model.

Long-Term Vision: Integrated Recovery-to-Work Model

WDRI’s long-term vision is to establish a fully integrated Recovery-to-Work system that combines:

  • Structured transitional housing
  • Recovery-oriented support services
  • Workforce development and career training pathways
  • Access to community-based resources and supportive services

This model is designed to reduce recidivism, strengthen recovery outcomes, and support sustainable reintegration by addressing housing, recovery, employment, and community support as interconnected components of stability.

Our Commitments

Across all phases of development, WDRI is committed to operating with integrity, transparency, and adherence to best practices.

Our work is guided by:

  • Recovery-oriented principles that emphasize strengths, self-determination, and individualized pathways
  • Trauma-informed care that prioritizes safety, trust, empowerment, and the prevention of re-traumatization
  • Equity and non-discrimination in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws
  • Privacy and confidentiality protections to safeguard participant information and ensure ethical data practices

These principles inform both current programming and future expansion.

Closing Statement

WDRI is building more than a program—we are building a pathway.

By connecting recovery support with employment opportunities today, and expanding into integrated housing and community-based services in the future, WDRI is working to create a system that promotes lasting recovery, independence, and stronger, more stable communities.
