The FORWARD Initiative is a community-driven pathway connecting recovery support, workforce development, housing, and reentry services. Through a phased model of care, individuals gain the support, skills, and opportunities needed to achieve lasting recovery, stable employment, career growth, and independent living.
The FORWARD Initiative is a project of We Do Recover Inc. The nonprofit is currently working to secure grant and private funding to bring this vision to life and expand recovery resources within the community.

The FORWARD House for Women is a planned, workforce-centered recovery and reentry housing initiative designed to support women in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia. As part of the broader FORWARD Initiative, the program will provide safe, structured transitional housing while helping women build stability, gain employment, strengthen life skills, and move toward long-term independence. Through recovery support, workforce development, transportation assistance, and employment-focused services, The FORWARD House for Women aims to create a pathway toward healing, opportunity, and economic mobility for women rebuilding their lives.
